Terms of Service

We are an independent service that sources and vets a preceptor and a clinical site in your own community for your Rasmussen University practicum. We are not Rasmussen University, we do not grant credit, and we do not control your academic standing.

Rasmussen practicums are designed to be completed in your own community, possibly at your own organization, under a Master's or Doctoral degree-prepared nurse preceptor. Rasmussen provides a clinical practicum coordinator to help students find and secure a site and preceptor. We work alongside that support, not against it, stepping in to find and vet options faster and where your own network comes up short.

We promise to work in good faith to source and vet a suitable preceptor and site that meets Rasmussen's stated requirements, including a Master's or Doctoral degree-prepared nurse preceptor and a cleared background check where required. We do not promise a specific outcome, grade, licensure result, or that any particular site will accept you.

You are responsible for meeting Rasmussen's academic and clinical requirements, for your own conduct during the practicum, and for confirming details with your school. Note that Rasmussen's NP specializations do not meet APRN licensure educational requirements in Alabama, Idaho, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, and eligibility to practice is determined by the school and licensing boards, not by us.

Our fee is 1,500 to 2,500 per rotation, and it is due when you are matched with a vetted preceptor and site, not before. Contacting us and discussing options carries no charge.

The exact fee within that range depends on your specialty, location, and the difficulty of securing the placement, and we will confirm the number before you commit. Any refund or cancellation terms for a specific engagement will be stated to you in writing at the time you agree to a match.

You agree to give us accurate information, to communicate honestly, and to follow all Rasmussen University and clinical site rules during your practicum. You are responsible for your own licensure eligibility and academic requirements.

You agree not to misuse the site, not to submit false information, and to treat any preceptor or site we introduce professionally. You remain responsible for your conduct and performance during any placement we help arrange.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to a rotation is limited to the fee you paid us for that rotation. We provide our service with reasonable care but without warranties beyond those the law requires.

We are not responsible for the acts of a preceptor, a site, or Rasmussen University, nor for academic or licensing decisions made by the school or a board. We may update these terms, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
